Summer Writing Group
Is there a novel or short story hiding in your soul? Have you ever wanted to write a memoir for a family member or friend? Do you enjoy expressing yourself through the written word but would like more discipline in your writing life, or perhaps some feedback on what you have written?
As part of our exploration of the many facets of creativity, our Sunday morning Summer Writing Group was created with writers and potential writers in mind. We’ll learn some tips on creative writing, discuss sources for discipline, and (for those who wish) share some feedback.
Mary Ann Laforet, an English teacher with a “wall of words” in her home will serve as facilitator.
Join us at 10:40am, in the air-conditioned comfort of Room 201 (2nd floor) on June 13, July 11, and August 8.
For the first session, bring something you have written or ideas of something you would like to write about.
To help in our planning, please register at the Registration Station, by June 6; six person minimum; bring a friend! There is no fee for this workshop.
