J.A.M. (Jesus And Me)

Kindergarten - 8th grade, Fellowship hall, lower level
Segment 1-Activity, 5–5:45 p.m.
Segment 2-Dinner, 5:45–6:15 p.m.
Segment 3-Activity, 6:15–7 p.m.

“Jesus And Me” is our Wednesday early evening program for Kindergarten - 8th graders. Our goal is to promote the children’s spiritual growth and encourage good Christian fellowship through a number of activities. Dinner is optional and the whole family is invited. Two children’s choirs, Pre-school Choir for 3-4-5 year olds, hand-bell choir, puppet troupe, computer time.
What words describe J.A.M.? Drumming, Singing, Ringing, Delicious desserts, Puppetry, Praying and Playing, Being with church friends. All these and more, but even more important than what we do at J.A.M. is what we experience at J.A.M. In a world that is too often critical and competitive, J.A.M. is a place where children and families can experience acceptance, can begin to live in God's boundless love. It is a place where the unique gifts and talents of children are nurtured and appreciated, where the lifelong journey of Christian service is launched.
Stop by and visit. Imagine how you and your children might become involved. If you let us know you are coming, we'll have dinner ready for you. Children are not the "church of the future;" they are part of the church TODAY. I pray that our church will always bless the lives of children in this community - and I know that the children will be a blessing to all of us as well.
Segment 1 - 5–5:45 p.m. (choose one activity):
Grace Note Singers (choir for K–3rd grade)
No Strings Attached Puppet & Storytelling Troupe (grade 4–8)
Jesus Ringers Handbell Choir (grade 4–8)
Segment 2 - 5:45–6:15 p.m. Dinner Fellowship:
NO COST for children enrolled in J.A.M., $3.00 for all other family members and guests.
Segment 3 - 6:15–7 p.m. (choose one activity):
Saints and Singers Choir (grade 4-8)
Church Mouse Computer Club (grade K-8) – open computer time alternates with other exceptional activities, including games and service projects, including games and service projects. Watch for additional electives in 2008-2009.
J.A.M. Schedule
Session I October 7-28
Session II November 4, 11, 18, Dec. 2 – 16; no J.A.M. on 11/25, 12/23, 12/30
Session III January 6 - March 10; no J.A.M. on 2/17
Please pre-register your child for the sessions and activities you choose. You need only register once for the entire year, unless you change your original selections.
