The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it, the world and those that live in it.

Did you know that FUMCAH saved almost $4,000 in electricity bills in 2016? In an effort to reduce our electric bills and our carbon footprint, the Board of Trustees undertook an energy assessment of electrical use in our church building. The Trustees, in cooperation with a ComEd Energy Engineer, participated in the Smart Ideas program that provides grants to qualified organizations willing to convert to more energy efficient lighting within their building.

FUMCAH's solar panels were turned on April 28, 2017. Your support through prayers and financial contributions made this possible. The projected payback is about 15 years based on current information available regarding the cost of electricity and projected increases over the next several years.
