Church School (Sunday Morning)
Children in Worship Children of all ages are always welcome in worship at First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights. John Westerhoff, a leading Christian educator believes that faith is “caught” not “taught.” As children grow in a faith community that welcomes them in worship, study and service, they catch the vision of active and joyous Christian discipleship - a vision for life.
At the 9 a.m. worship service children in 1st – 7th grade begin the hour in worship with their families. Following our Children's Time, they may go to Church School or return to their pew.
Live B.I.G.
Pre-schoolers & Kindergartners. While our two, three, four and five year olds may be small in size, they can Live B.I.G. (Hear, see and live your Belief In God) and get a B.I.G. start on a lifetime of faith through our Sunday morning pre-school and Kindergarten programs. Live B.I.G. includes, videos, stories and activities that help all children create solid faith connections.
