The 4x8 groups are a meal fellowship program that helps the people of FUMCAH get to know one another better. Eight people, singles or couples, agree to meet four times over 6 months (October through March). Groups are formed with the intent of connecting people with others they might not have met or don't know so well. Each group has a Host/Hostess that plans the first meal. Group members set up subsequent meals according to the participants' schedules. They decide if they will meet for dinner, lunch or brunch. If a group member is unable to host at their home, they may check with the church office to see if the gathering place is available or the group may decide to meet at a restaurant. The only agenda is for the group attendees to get better acquainted. You may sign up at church or online beginning Sunday, August 17th. Registration closes on Monday, September 8.
