🎶 Vinyl Faith: Analog Community in an A.I. World

  • First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights 1903 East Euclid Avenue Arlington Heights, IL, 60004 United States (map)

We live in a world of curated online identities, endless content streams, and algorithms that tell us what to want—yet so many of us are left wondering what’s real and longing for something more authentic. As A.I. reshapes our lives, in-person connections matter more than ever.

Vinyl Faith invites us to drop the needle on a different way of life. Jesus didn’t come to launch a content stream; he sat at tables, walked dusty roads, and transformed lives. Analog faith celebrates the way of Jesus that meets us in the mess, invites us to vulnerability, and offers community to hold us up.

This series—shaped by the soul of the 60s, 70s, and 80s—celebrates imperfect community because church is powerful when we gather face-to-face and community groups are life-giving when they foster real relationship.

Every follower of Jesus has the capacity to create spaces where people are truly seen, known, and loved. Because the gospel still lives best in the scratches.
