May's mission is Shelter Youth & Family Services, a nonprofit organization based in Arlington Heights dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families in crisis. Founded in 1975, its mission is to help end the cycle of child abuse and neglect by providing a comprehensive network of services that promote safe, healthy, and nurturing homes. Their programs include emergency shelter, foster care, transitional living, mental health counseling, and support for homeless or at-risk youth, communities across the Chicagoland area. Shelter provides 24/7 care and works to create stable, supportive environments where young people can thrive.

You can purchase a Mother's Day card for $10. Your donation will go to Shelter Youth & Family Services to help ensure that all children grow up in safe and loving homes. Mother's Day cards will be sold before and after church on Sunday, April 26, May 3, and 10.
